It's ALL About Christ

Out of physical brokenness, I began to read the Bible in 2012. Through reading the Scriptures, I understood this one great truth: "I was a great sinner in need of a GREATER SAVIOR." This is where my new life began. I went from death to life, and EVERYTHING began to change. I read more and more of the Bible, as a new believer, I was reading TEN CHAPTERS every day. This increased to twelve, then sixteen, then the New Testament every month, and then I had five spinal fusions in five years, and I coasted at four chapters a day for a while.

Those years were perhaps the hardest years of my life. Looking back, it's not because of the pain, but because I grew complacent with God. My life and my family's life suffered because of my complacency. By the infinite mercies of God, it didn't stay this way! I was shaken out of my stupor by God's Word: Isaiah 55, Matthew 28:19-20; John 17:17, James 4:5-8; Hebrews 11:6, 2 Timothy 3:14-17

I became increasingly convinced of the power of God's Word, that its purpose is to produce LIFE, WORSHIP, and TRANSFORMATION.

I became convinced that disciples are made through IMMERSION in God's LIVING WORD.

I became convinced that I needed more transformation than anything, and His Word SANCTIFIES US.

​

I became convinced that for me to walk humbly with my God, I needed to search EVERY AREA of my life and ask God, "How would you have me live?"

​

This led me to start reading and listening through the WHOLE BIBLE once a month. This is in addition to all of my other duties as a husband, father of seven, pastor, and provider. I am convinced that we MUST find a PASSION for the God of the Scriptures once again to find the GRACE of God to live a supernatural life-giving life in a natural world of death and destruction.
